Behind the Laughter

  • Shaffer is most famous for being David Letterman's talk-show bandleader and sidekick.
  • In reality, Shaffer was born in Thunder Bay, not Toronto.
  • The inside cover of the book, The Simpsons: One Step Beyond Forever contains concept art of various objects from Seasons 13 and 14, including artwork of the sign seen at the bus stop.
