Mr. T is an American actor and media personality who played B.A. Baracus in the 1980s TV programme, The A-Team. Mr. T is also a good friend of Krusty the Clown.

History[edit]

After the Be Sharps finished singing a song about C. Everett Koop, Apu said to Homer, "This is worse than your song about Mr. T." Homer quoted Mr. T's famous catchphrase in his reply, "I pity the fool who doesn't like... he".[1]

Homer mentioned the time he could have met Mr. T at the mall. The whole day, he kept saying that he'd go a little later. But when he got there, Mr. T had just left. When Homer asked the mall guy if he'd come back, the mall guy said that he didn't know.[2]

On a TV comedy show a man said that if Mr. T and E.T. had a baby they could call it Mr. E.T. and he would say "I pity the fool that don't phone home!". Homer saw it and said then that he sure would not want to be Mr. T right now.[3]

The Springfield Speakers Bureau had a special going that month where Mr. Blackwell debated against Mr. T. In the debate, Mr. Blackwell told Mr. T that he had seen nicer chains on snow tires. Mr. T then responded with saying that he pitied the fool who derived self-esteem from mocking other people's clothing. Mr. Blackwell then said that he hated himself.[4]

Mr. T was a member of the Stonecutters' World Council along with George H. W. Bush, Jack Nicholson and Orville Redenbacher. When the Stonecutters disbanded and reformed as The Ancient Mystic Society of No Homers, he stayed on as a council member.[5] He was also a performer at a show in Branson, Missouri.[6] Mr. T performed at Krusty's Bar-Mitzvah which was broadcast on live television.[7]

A waxwork of Mr. T was on the cover of a Wax Museum pamphlet.[8]

Mr. T once starred in a performance of The Lion King at the Capital City Playhouse. Homer saw a billboard sign advertising the performance while he was driving at night looking for milk for Maggie.[9]

Moe Szyslak dressed as Mr. T at the masquerade ball.[10]
