Starland Vocal Band is an American pop band.

History

During a family conversation following Bleeding Gums Murphy’s death, Homer suggested that Lisa could honor his memory by getting a tattoo, saying that tattoos preserve the things people love. He then showed his own tattoo reading “Starland Vocal Band.” When Marge questioned it, Homer reacted defensively, but Marge dismissed the band, saying they “suck.”
