William Bligh was the captain on HMAV Bounty. He appeared in a story told by Bart.

As the Bounty was setting off from England, Fletcher Christian pointed out that Admiral Horatio Nelson was trying to send a message. Admiral Nelson messaged that Bligh ate dolphin boogers, which Bligh then said that he might have done as he ate dolphin. The Bounty then set off on its journey.
During the journey, Bligh mistreated his crew. He stopped them from drinking water due to shortages, and then threw all their mail overboard.
