Miami Sound Machine was an American pop band fronted by Gloria Estefan. Their worldwide hit "Conga" became their signature song.

History[edit]

The Krusty the Clown Show's gag reel played at Krusty Kon included a backdrop fell over and crushed Sideshow Mel's legs. Krusty told Mel to stick to the script so just before passing out Mel introduced Miami Sound Machine who come on stage and performed "Conga".[1]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

As well as their appearance in "Bart vs. Itchy & Scratchy", their song "Conga" was parodied by Homer and Marge in "Catch 'Em If You Can".
