Backseid is a supervillain and the most insidious fiend the cosmos has ever known. He is from the planet Ragnarokaway.

History

Backseid decided to make Earth his next conquest and used a big screen to watch Radioactive Man to get to know what he would be facing. His minion, Markee, set it up to watch Radioactive Man. When the hero from New Gentry, Obrian, found out, he went to Earth to warn Radioactive Man about Backseid.

Later, New Gentry sent inspectors to Backseid's home to investigate whether he was attacking Earth and to discuss it with him.

Behind the Laughter

Backseid is a parody of Darkseid from DC Comics. His name is a reference to him always having his back to the reader.
