Darryl Strawberry is a baseball player and was one of the players in the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team.

History

Waylon Smithers, Jr. went to ask him to come work at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant so that he could join the softball team. He took Homer's place in the team and he was the only player to survive the eight separate misfortunes of the other players. Mr. Burns swapped him out for Homer in the final part of the big game against Shelbyville as both he and the pitcher were left handed.[1]

He is also one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[2]
