Deborah A. "Debbie" Peterson, previously known as Deborah A. "Debbie" Silver, is an animator. She is currently a background designer for The Simpsons and has previously served as a background clean-up artist, background layout artist and background layout supervisor.

Peterson was nominated for a 2014 Annie Award in "Outstanding Achievement, Production Design in an Animated TV/Broadcast Production" for "Treehouse of Horror XXIV" along with Lynna Blankenship, Dima Malanitchev, Charles Ragins and Jefferson R. Weekley.^[1]
