Band Information

The Village People is an American disco band.
History
When Nigel gave The Be Sharps a recording contract he told Homer that they must replace the police officer, as it's too much Village People. This lead to Chief Wiggum being replaced by Barney.[1]
When Homer joined the Naval Reserve he got to participate in the annual war games and was placed on board a Nuclear submarine which is under the command of Captain Tenille. When it was time to get the submarine to go down into the water Tenille announced that it is tradition to sing "In the Navy" by Village People so the crew started to do it. The Village People was at the time on the outsidedeck and began to sing too, but when the ship goes into the water they followed suit.[2]
