Character Information
|
Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor.
History[edit]
Dr. Hibbert told Homer's family that when Homer is on his back, his stomach lodges perfectly under his diaphragm, giving him a powerful singing voice. Bart then asked if that was a real thing and Lisa replied, mentioning that tenor Andrea Bocelli recorded an entire song on his back.[1]
Homer got Andrea Bocelli for Marge as a Christmas gift. Marge and Lisa were amazed to see him, but Bart didn't care about who he was. Bocelli then started singing "Con te partirò", which Bart then joined in with. Homer then told Bocelli that they wanted a Christmas song instead. After Bocelli spoke to his children Matteo and Virginia, Virginia suggested "Feliz Navidad". The Bocellis sung the song, with the Simpsons joining in too.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
