Character Information

Mel Gibson is an American actor and producer.
History
So sure of Marge Simpson's guilt, the blue-haired lawyer asked the jury who they found more attractive, Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson, during the trail between Kwik-E-Mart and Marge Simpson.[1]
Mel Gibson starred in a remake of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, which had a test screening at the Aztec Theater in Springfield. Mel flew out to Springfield to see how the audience reacted to it. Mel had reservations about the film and wasn't satisfied with it. However, most of the people who watched the film loved it, except Homer Simpson. As Mel and the movie executives were flying back to Hollywood, Mel read through the feedback cards until he found one that didn't like the film. He then got John Travolta to turn the plane around so he could go and see Homer.
At the Simpson house, Mel asked Homer to help him fix his film. Mel then flew the entire Simpson family out to Hollywood so he and Homer could work on it. Homer gave various suggestions for the film, but Mel turned them all down. Homer then revealed that the ending was his least favorite part, as it's so boring. Mel agreed and they decided to rework the ending together.
When the new ending was shown to the executives, they didn't like it and were confused by it as it was so violent, and Mr. Smith even killed the President of the United States. They decided to burn the film so that nobody would see it, as it would ruin their careers. However, Mel grabbed the film reel off them and he and Homer escaped in a studio cart. After crashing the cart outside of the Hollywood Auto Museum, Mel and Homer ran in and found the rest of the Simpson family. They then took the Road Warrior Car from Mad Max and escaped from the executives. During the chase, the executives caught up and Mel threw a dummy of himself at their car, leading Edward Christian to think that he had killed Mel. Once they found out that it was a dummy, they continued to drive after Homer and Mel. They were eventually stopped in the road by Homer and Mel both mooning the executives in their car. Whilst Mel jumps out of the way of the car, Homer is hit by it.
Back in Springfield, Mel and Homer show off the new film to a test audience. However, the entire audience hated it, and Jimmy Stewart's granddaughter told Mel and Homer that they'd be hearing from her attorney.[2]
Mel Gibson starred in the film The Salad of the Christ.[3]
Krusty visited Moe as he wanted a "Forget-Me-Shot" because he was trying to do a Don Rickles about Arabs, but it turned into a Mel Gibson about Mexicans.[4]
