Ashlee Starling is a pop singer.

History[edit]

Ashlee Starling's song "Glitter" played at the Isotope Stadium during a baseball game. Due to all the teenage girls in the crowd putting up signs, Homer and Bart were unable to see the game. After they left, Kent Brockman interviewed Homer about Ashlee Starling, where Homer insulted her. Due to this, Ashlee Starling's fans, the Murmur Nation, started to harass Homer with pranks and glitter bombs. Lisa was among the fans who attacked Homer, along with Billy and Mackenzie.

Homer was then taken by people hired by Echo, a rival to Ashlee Starling, to Echo Studios. Echo told Homer that her fans, the Echolaliacs, would protect Homer from the Murmur Nation going forward. The Echolaliacs succeeded in stopping a prank by the Murmur Nation and Echo and Homer started to retaliate by attacking Ashlee Starling. During an awards show, Homer stole her award and ran off with it. When chaos started hitting Springfield due to the feud between the two pop stars, Marge was interviewed by Kent Brockman and said that she had listened to Ashlee Starling's songs and liked them. This led to her getting invited to dinner with Ashlee Starling.

Ashlee Starling got Marge drunk on Ashlee Starling Sparkling Whiskey and heard many embarrassing stories and facts about Homer from her. She then turned this into a music video called "The Way You Was", which was a diss track against Homer. When Homer realized that his whole family had gone against him, he left the house and went to Echo Studios to try and get Echo's help making a counter to Ashlee Starling's diss track. However, they ended up making a song about how much Homer cares about his family instead. After this song came out, the Murmur Nation decided to stop attacking Homer.
