History
Supertramp are first mentioned when Homer tells Bart and Lisa the story of how he proposed to Marge. "It all happened at the beginning of that turbulent decade know as the eighties. Those were idealistic days. The candidacy of John Anderson. The rise of Supertramp." The beginning of the subsequent flashback is scored by Supertramp's The Logical Song. This is an anachronism as The Logical Song was released in 1979.
In Bart's Inner Child, after Edna said to her class that the wireless was an invention by Guglielmo Marconi she asked if anyone knows what his first message was.
