The cockroach actor is an actor who played Gregor Samsa in the play Roach.

When Lisa, Julian, Katya, and Lars went to watch Roach, Lisa became horrified at the way the character was being treated and stepped in to stop it. Tracy Letts, who wrote the play, told Lisa that she proved she was one of the most sensitive and artistically attuned people he had ever met. Backstage, the cockroach actor was seen talking with people and then put his hand together with Lisa, Julian, and Katya. He remarked that he had misread the situation when they looked at him.
Later, the cockroach actor participated in the mob that chased down Lisa after she ran away with the check made out to Julian. It is unknown whether he was part of the scheme or if he was simply after Lisa because he thought she had stolen an art piece.
