Sungazer is a chart-topping hard-driving rock band from the 1980s. The band's most popular song is "Hopin' for a Dream".
History
The band discovered Apu, a fan of Sungazer, and convinced him to become the lead singer while with Covercraft for the band's final tour. This was because the band's singer, Grant LeDavid, died from erotic asphyxiation. It was later discovered that the band was forcing Apu to do a three year tour. However, the band, except Apu, became ill when they ate some hot dogs from the Kwik-E-Mart, leaving them with food poisoning.
