Hettie Mae Boggs is a homeless woman that Bart met after getting her cart beneath the lake. She lived in Bart and Lisa's closets.

History[edit]

Originally from Lickskillet, Kentucky in Appalachia, she was an incredible folk singer, and Lisa offered to plan a concert for her, but she ran away to Cletus's Farm. Once the Simpsons convinced her to come to the concert, everyone left, and she sang for Lisa and a cleaner guy. She was offered to sleep on the couch by Lisa after the song ended.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Hettie is based on a real life story.[1]
