After Homer became smart, he saw Love is Nice, in which Richard Gere played a groom. Afterwards, he told the crowd that the film was tired and predictable after he didn't understand a joke. Homer told the crowd that Julia Roberts, the bride, was going to wind up marrying Richard Gere. Dr. Hibbert said that he thought she was going to wind up with that rich snob, and Sea Captain added that he was ably played by Bill Paxton. Homer told them that was Bill Pullman, before someone knocked him out and he was thrown out of the cinema.[1]
When Lisa Simpson became interested in another religion, Richard Gere persuaded her to become a Buddhist.
