Synopsis[edit]

"After Homer gets injured during a cooking show, the Simpson family get a free trip to Scotland. Groundskeeper Willie joins them to see his brother compete in the World Groundskeeping Cup."

Plot[edit]

The Simpson family take a tour of Krustylu Studios, led by Connie. When they are being shown around the cooking show stage, the director of the show Steel Chef approaches Connie and the tour group as the contestant chef for the show had sat on a blowfish and they needed a new contestant. Marge is selected to take part on the show and she chooses Bart to be her helper. When the show starts, Marge challenges Steel Chef Cafeteria. They are then given their mystery ingredient, corn dogs. Marge is worried about the ingredient, not knowing what to cook with it, but Bart convinces her that she can do it. The two of them cook a three course meal using corn dogs and win the show, as Lunchlady Doris had made the same food the previous week. When Homer finds out that there's no prize for winning, he steps into the sink and touches a waffle iron, getting injured.

At the hospital, Giggles the personal injury clown offers the family a free trip to Scotland as compensation for Homer's injury. Groundskeeper Willie overhears this and asks to go with them because his brother, Angus MacMoran, is taking part in the World Groundskeeping Cup. The family reluctantly agrees and they all go on a flight to Scotland. On the flight, the family watches one of Angus' movies, Fertilizer of Fury II. The Simpsons all think Angus is great, which disappoints Willie. Willie then recalls the time that Angus won over the girl who Willie loved, Sharon.

When the plane lands, the Simpsons find a huge crowd of people waiting at the airport. Angus then appears and tells them that he arrived to pick them up, and the crowd was there for him. Angus then took the Simpsons and Willie on a tour around town before taking them to his parents house. Their parents seem disinterested in both siblings, but Willie thinks that they like Angus more anyway. Willie and Homer then go to the local pub, where the barflies mock Willie because he's not a somebody like his brother. Homer then tells everyone that Willie is going to enter the World Groundskeeping Cup. Willie goes back to his parents house and tells everyone that he's entering and gets his father's groundskeeping tools.

On the day of the contest, a huge crowd has shown up to cheer on Angus. Willie chooses Bart to be his assistant and then Angus gives Willie one last chance to back out. After Willie refuses, Sharon shows up and tells Willie to do well. The competition then starts and Willie takes an early lead. However, the final part of the competition, the mower race, was worth 50% of the final score. Angus shows up with a super-charged mower, and singer Djörk as his caddie. The race starts and Willie takes an early lead. However, Angus soon overtakes them. Angus then activates blade scythes from the wheels of his mower, which shear through the fuel tank on Willie's mower. Bart plugs the hole with a corn dog and they cross the finish line, winning the race and the cup. Willie and Bart celebrate when Sharon approaches Willie and gives him a kiss.

The next day, everyone gets ready to head back to Springfield. Whilst Willie's parents didn't care about him winning, Willie was proud of himself. Angus then congratulated Willie on winning and everyone gets on the plane back home.
