Tom Petty held a lyrics workshop at The Rolling Stones' Rock N' Roll Fantasy Camp. He was talking about how lyrics were the hardest part about songwriting, but Homer cut him off saying "BORING!" When Petty realized that everyone just wanted midless, generic rock, he started to play and sing a song.
