History
When making his case as to why the Simpson family should be allowed to stay in Springfield, Homer starts to say "I believe it was Sammy Hagar who said-" before he is silenced by Sideshow Mel throwing a bone at his head.[1]

At the New Awareness Awards, Willie Nelson was trying to patch things up between Van Halen and Sammy Hagar as well as the Simpson family.[2]
He was shown drinking on a beach and going on a bender. Later on, he was shown in jail delivering a monologue to King Toot and the members of Covercraft.[3]
He escaped from jail when Chief Wiggum crashed into it with his new jetpack.[4]
