History
When a young Marge was on a date with Homer when thought she was boring him so she started to say that she liked music and mentioned Bobby Goldsboro, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Terry Jacks, Parliament, but said she did not like Funkadelic.[1]

When told to explain how he ended up in the Springfield Mental Hospital, Homer Simpson figured he'd do a flashback sequence. He mentions enjoying flashbacks as they are dramatic, mentioning a Bobby Goldboro song as an example.[2]
