Judi Dench is an English actress who owns the restaurant chain Judi Dench's Fish & Chips, located in London.

History[edit]

Dench evidently has an arrangement for sightseeing buses to stop at her restaurants when they pass by. She is also a strict boss, as she doesn't want employees engaging in idle chit-chat with the public and beats them if she isn't pleased with the amount of food they sell.

When the Simpsons were touring London on a bus, the driver announced that they were arriving at the restaurant, and then pulled straight into the drive-thru. Homer was hesitant to order anything, but the cashier begged him to buy something or Dench would be furious: "She'll beat us, she will." When Homer still didn't place an order, an angry Dench was heard over the speaker berating the cashier and then hitting him, to cries of protest from the cashier.[1]

When Homer saw Marge with gray hair, he imagined her as a Bond girl. To his disappointment, however, the gray-haired Marge turned into Judi Dench, then moved in and kissed Homer.[2]

Judi Dench starred in the animated TV show Cookie Castle.[3]
