Calista Flockhart is an actress probably better known for playing lawyer Ally McBeal whose exaggeratedly skinny caricature appeared in an episode of South Park whose exaggeratedly thin caricature appeared in an episode of South Park.

History[edit]

"Impaled-on-Calista Flockhart Lance Murdock" was a traction figure toy of Capt. Lance Murdock with Calista Flockhart impaled through him. The ad copy read, "Terrifying-yet-average crash landing goes horribly awry when Lance is thrown from the bike and TV's Ally McBeal is driven through his chest!"[1]

Bart and Milhouse watched an episode of South Park where Calista Flockhart was the guitarist in a band with Farty the Crippled Robot and Steve Guttenberg. After Farty sang about O.J., O.J. Simpson came and killed her and the rest of the band. The violence caused Marge to turn off the TV.[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

These jokes are references to Calista Flockhart's skinniness which lead to speculation and gossip in pop culture when Ally McBeal became a hit TV show causing her to say, "I would like to take this opportunity just to tell the press to kiss my skinny white ass" during her interview with David Letterman on the Late Show.[3]
