The Jesus fish were fish kept by Ned Flanders.
History[edit]
When Lisa saw Ned and his Jesus fish at the Springfield Pet Fair, she asked Ned how he made the fish. Ned said that God made some fish that looked close to what he wanted, "so naturally [he] selected those for further breeding." Lisa then responded with "so that "natural selection" was the origin of this species?". Ned almost agreed before he realized what Lisa was doing. One of the fish then tried to crawl out of the tank, having grown legs, and started to breathe, before Ned flicked it back into the tank and closed it off.
