Deep Dark Woods is a fairy tale forest.
History[edit]
Wanting to get rid of Bart and Lisa so he would have two less mouths to feed, Homer threw them into the Deep Dark Woods and left them there. Lisa had her copy of Grimms' Fairy Tales and was using it as a guide. First, they got to a bridge which Lisa said had a Troll living under it. The Troll jumped out and scared Bart and Lisa off. Soon, they got to a house and, after finding nobody was home, they let themselves in. This turned out to be the Three Bears' House, and the two of them fled back into the woods when the bears returned home.
After Homer returned home, Marge told him to go and find the kids. Homer went into the forest and found Rapunzel's tower and accidentally pulled off her scalp when he tried to climb up her hair. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa found their way to the Gingerbread House and were invited inside by the witch, Suzanne. Homer eventually found them at the house and killed Suzanne, with him, Bart, and Lisa leaving the woods afterward.
