The Sacred Parchment was a ceremonial document preserved by the Stonecutters and believed to contain the prophecy of a future Chosen One who would lead the organization to glory.
History[edit]
During the society's 1500th-anniversary banquet, the parchment was displayed prominently above the gathering as members celebrated with food and drink. Unaware of its importance, Homer Simpson removed the parchment from the wall and used it as a bib while eating ribs, later wiping his mouth, cleaning his ears, and blowing his nose on it. The horrified Stonecutters immediately stripped Homer of his membership and prepared to humiliate him with the "Stone of Shame" publicly. However, as the punishment began, members noticed a distinctive birthmark on Homer's body that matched the sign described in the Sacred Parchment, leading them to halt the ceremony and proclaim him the long-awaited Chosen One.
