Behind the Laughter
- The name "Heather Locklear-Fortensky" is a reference to Larry Fortensky, best known as being Elizabeth Taylor's seventh and last husband.
- Snake's appearance on Conan is a nod to ex-Simpsons writer Conan O'Brien, who since 1993 has been a talk show host. His show at the time of the episode was Late Night with Conan O'Brien, however now he actually has a TV show called Conan.
- Heather Locklear appeared on Late Night in 1996, 1999, 2000 and (after this episode) 2005. She also appeared on The Tonight Show during Conan's tenure in 2009.
- Three Eye Blind, however, have never appeared on the show.
