Quentin Tarantino is an American film director and actor.
History[edit]
Tarantino guest-directed "Reservoir Cats", an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show. In the middle of the cartoon, Tarantino stepped onto the scene and explained that what he was trying to say in the cartoon was that violence was everywhere in society. However, while he talked, Itchy grew impatient, lunged at Tarantino, and cut his head off with a straight razor (which he had already used to cut off Scratchy's ear). Itchy and Scratchy then exchanged high-fives and danced around Tarantino's decapitated body.[1]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- The Itchy & Scratchy cartoon references Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, two of Tarantino's most famous films.
- Quentin Tarantino was asked to guest-star in the episode, but he declined, so Dan Castellaneta provided the voice of the Tarantino character.[2]
Appearances[edit]
- Episode – "Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious"
- Comic story – Bart Simpson and the Krusty Brand Fun Factory (mentioned)
