History[edit]

When Eduardo mentioned that Homer's childhood hero was Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Homer corrected him and said that his childhood hero was actually June Foray who provided the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel.

Behind the Laughter[edit]

June Foray (1917-2017) voiced a receptionist for the Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers Babysitting Service and the Happy Little Elves in the season 1 episode "Some Enchanted Evening".

The first name and character design of Itchy & Scratchy voice-over performer June Bellamy from "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show" is based on June Foray.
