Jenda (former married name Simpson) is Bart's future girlfriend, and later ex-wife.

History[edit]

Eight years into the future, Jenda broke up with Bart during a picnic date. To win her back, Bart accepted an offer from Mr. Burns to attend Yale on a scholarship, which was originally intended for Lisa. Jenda took him back because he now had the scholarship and was "someone." Lisa, on the other hand, resigned herself to a life with Milhouse. Bart and Jenda took a walk, and Jenda pressured Bart to have sex with her. Bart spotted Professor Frink's house, remembered the astrology machine in the basement, and saw the dismal future Lisa had in store. Jenda became upset and demanding, wanting to have sex with Bart, and gave him an ultimatum: either Bart would take her then, or leave her to save Lisa's future. Bart was torn between staying with Jenda and saving Lisa but chose Lisa and set off to save her, giving her the scholarship.^[1]

Some time later, they got back together and eventually got married. They had two kids but later divorced. At one point, she sent the kids to stay with their father for Christmas, and she remarried. Jenda started dating an alien named Jerry. Eventually, however, Jerry left her, and she and Bart decided to give their relationship another chance. Soon after, Jenda became fed up with Bart and started dating Jerry again. Later, it was revealed that this was all a memory planted into Bart's head when he tried to get over Jenda by going to a place called "moving on."^[2]
