Chewbacca is a Wookiee, an alien.
History[edit]
When the FBI investigated Homer's alien sighting, Agents Mulder and Scully assembled a lineup of aliens for Homer to identify which one he had seen. In addition to Chewbacca, the lineup included Marvin the Martian, Gort, ALF and Kang or Kodos. Chewbacca was later seen with the rest of Springfield, singing "Good Morning Starshine". He was wearing a "Homer is a dope" T-shirt.[1]
His picture is seen on the cover of the board game Star Wars Monopoly[2] and on the bottle of Scent of a Wookiee, a cologne from the Star Wars collection.[3]
Comic Book Guy has a bust of Chewbacca in The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop.[4]
During the Krusty's Toy Trample at Hello Krusty, Bart and Milhouse saw a display of toys from Solo: A Star Wars Story. Among the toys were several Chewbacca toys.[5]
A figure of Chewbacca is in Comic Book Guy's apartment.[6]
The Shipper said that C-3PO and Chewbacca are definitely a couple.[7]
Willie revealed his biggest disappointment was when the version of Star Wars with him as Chewbacca was cut.[8]

When Homer got onto the carousel at Krustyland, he said that that he and Lisa were the first people "ever to ride this baby", and they were like "that space guy who did that moon thing!". Lisa asked if he meant Neil Armstrong, to which Homer replied that he meant Chewbacca.[10]
Chewbacca appeared in the background of the Star Wars Rules.[11]
Chewbacca was the doorman for Moe's Cantina.[12]
Chewbacca was at Disney Playground Planet when Marge asked how you said "I'm sorry" in wookiee. Chewbacca roared at Marge. He later attended the "I'm sorry" party.[13]
