Cyrus Simpson is Abe's older brother.
History
They both served as soldiers in World War II, serving together before the Sullivan law was enacted to prevent this. It is unknown if Abe Simpson was assigned to the Flying Hellfish before or after this. Cyrus' plane crashed and was not seen again by his brother until decades later. Cyrus remained in Tahiti where he retired. He now lives with his 15 wives, as he mentioned to his brother Abe when the latter visited him years after his disappearance.[2]
During the Winter 2015 event in The Simpsons: Tapped Out, Cyrus and his 15 wives visited Springfield over the holidays.[3]
