Springfield Mall is the local mall in Springfield.

Description

Springfield Mall has hundreds of stores, restaurants, bars, clinics and other services. Its CEO is Mr. Costington. Two of its more well-known stores are The Leftorium and Lionel Hutz's law office. At one time, the mall was in a dilapidated state due to the mayor's dad being murdered there.[1] Many major stores, like JC Penney, were run down and out of business. However, the mall is thriving again,[2] till it announces it's closing forever the week Grampa gets his hearing back.[3]

In Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Bart entered the Springfield Mall and stole all the hats so that a group of invading aliens couldn't use them to fuel an Earth-conquering weapon.

In The Simpsons Road Rage, the mall is located in the Nuclear Power Plant level and is a drop-off location. The player can enter the mall through the open doors. It is attached to the stores Happy Market and Mikrodachboden, which can also be entered.

In The Simpsons Skateboarding, the mall is a playable level. Stores seen near the mall are Hailstone's, Mourlocks and Parrish.

In The Simpsons Game, the mall was invaded by Kang and Kodos but was saved by Bart and Homer.
