The Herschel Krustofsky School for the Clowning Arts was a school for educating children in becoming clowns. It was owned by Krusty the Clown.
History[edit]
When Krusty was at Mussel & Flanks with some other clowns, he complained that young people didn't care about clowns anymore. Little Debbie Dimples gave Krusty the idea to open up a clown school for children. He got the idea reluctantly approved and then started to try and find students by putting out adverts. Bart saw one of the adverts and wanted to join the school. When he and Homer went to enroll Bart, Krusty questioned Bart's grades. However, when he found out that many students would follow Bart to join the school, Krusty accepted Bart.
The school became a success, teaching children the material they needed for exams in a fun way that also taught them how to be clowns. When the Krustofsky School went against Springfield Elementary in the Science Bowl, the Krustofsky School won, which caused the parents to praise Krusty. However, the school's success didn't last long as the Springfield Mafia threatened Krusty into getting involved and making money from the school. Supplies started to dwindle as the mob sold them and the staff got threatened. Krusty eventually had enough of this and wore a wire to get evidence against the Mafia. However, Fat Tony discovered that he was wearing a wire and the Mafia got ready to kill him before students of the school went in to protect him. Fat Tony then decided to burn down the school and claim the insurance money instead.
