The Springfield Beach is the beach that runs along the coastline of Springfield.
History[edit]
After being dismissed from Springfield Elementary School, Seymour Skinner spent time with Bart Simpson at the beach during sunset. While listening to the ocean through a seashell, Skinner accidentally disturbed a crab hiding inside it, which clamped onto his ear until Bart knocked it off with a stick.[1]
After Homer Simpson left his job at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant to work at Barney's Bowlarama, he and Marge celebrated the change with a quiet evening together that ended with a walk along a Springfield Beach. The couple spent time near the shoreline after eating dinner and later returned home. The outing later became significant within the Simpson family because it was the night Maggie Simpson was conceived.[2]
A whale washed up on the beach once.[3]
