Sears was a department store in Springfield Mall.
History[edit]
One day, Homer got caught stealing several watches from Sears.[1]
Homer and his vigilante group were after the "Cat Burglar," a criminal who had stolen Lisa's saxophone and many other items from the people of Springfield. Homer encountered a saxophonist performing on the streets. Believing it was his daughter's saxophone, Homer briefly interrogated the man and ordered his team to capture him. However, the saxophonist explained that he had gotten the instrument from Sears.[2]
After the owner of 50 Shades of Shades sold his half of the stall to Ned Flanders, Ned was happy because he would get the people coming out of Sears seeing his Leftorium stall. However, Sears then shut down due to Amazon.com, with a sign saying "Jeff Bezos Rot In Hell" on the front.[3]
Homer had a gift card for $500 at Sears. The Simpsons passed by a bankrupt Sears store on their way to Second Best Western hotel.[4]
