The Lower East Side is Springfield's Jewish neighborhood where Krusty the Clown grew up with his father, Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky, the community's most respected member.[1]
History[edit]
Homer and Marge lived here for a time in the 1980s before Lisa was born.[2]
Walking his puppy, Krusty returned and found out there was the Springfield Jewish Walk of Fame and he was not on it.[3]
The 3 Little Shnooks originated in Springfield's Lower East Side and quickly established themselves as one of vaudeville's premier acts.[4]
