Wolverine is a Marvel Comics superhero.

History

An issue of X-Men comics with Wolverine on the cover was shifted in front of DC comics by Stan Lee.[1]

There was an infamous Wolverine comic with pop out claws that was extremely controversial. It was so controversial because the pop out claws were extremely sharp and could cut skin. After the claws cut Milhouse, he cried a tear onto the comic, smudging one of Wolverine's sideburns. Comic Book Guy then makes Milhouse pay $25 for the comic he ruined.[2]

Comic Book Guy once dressed up in a Wolverine costume to get a vaccination because, as he explained to Marge, he is afraid of needles, "but Wolverine is not".[3]

When Bart asks himself what his hero would say, he imagines Wolverine in a thought bubble. He tells Bart to slash her face whilst she least expects it. [4]
