History[edit]

Stan Lee once jammed a Thing action figure into Database's Batmobile, breaking the toy in the process.^[1]

At a superhero themed pub crawl, Homer dressed as The Thing.^[2]

Comic Book Guy has bookends of The Thing and the Hulk.^[3]^[4]

Someone was seen dressed as The Thing at Comicalooza.^[5]

One of the items that Comic Book Guy asked Bart to get him from the toy store was The Thing fists and feet.^[6]

On Comic Book Guy's list of greatest quotes of all time is "It's clobberin' time!" by The Thing.^[7]
