Roargo is a supernatural reptilian monster.

History

When I.M. Redd was trying to find an incantation to cure his from locking up in unusual gestures, he got some Ancient Saurian Scrolls from a curio shop in Tibet. When he read the incantation on one of the scrolls, he accidentally summoned Roargo. Roargo then started stampeding around Zenith City, destroying parts of it. Radioactive Man then flew to Roargo to try and stop him. However. Radioactive Man had been weakened by some experiments that Dr. Peters had been performing on him, so Radioactive Man couldn't defeat Roargo.

Radioactive Man then flew to the Rubber Factory in Zenith City and took all the rubber they had to make a giant lizard costume for himself. Radioactive Man then entered the costume and pretended to be Roargo's mother. Roargo immediately latched onto what he thought was his mother and Radioactive Man took Roargo to the Arctic North where Roargo got frozen in ice. Radioactive Man said that this was the most humane way to handle him.

Trivia

  • I.M. Redd named Roargo and says that his name comes from the words "Roar", because he roars, and "Goes", because he goes.

Behind the Laughter

Roargo is an obvious parody of Godzilla.
