- For the other Bartman, see Bartman.
Bartman is the superhero alter-ego of Bart Simpson in Gotham City. He appeared in a story told by Bart.
History
When Bart, Homer, and Marge left the Gotham City Opera House, they went down a dark alley where they were confronted by a criminal who wanted to rob them. The criminal shot Homer and Marge, killing them and leaving Bart orphaned. However, Bart noticed that the criminal had a snake tattoo on his cheek. At the funeral, Grampa revealed to Bart that he used to be the Crimson Cockatoo and could train Bart to get his revenge. After his training was complete, Bart became Bartman, turning down being the "Crimson Cockaboy" as Grampa suggested.
Bartman's first day on the job had him stop a thief from stealing newspapers from Apu. He then went on to defeat The Toker, The Diddler, Mr. Mole, Sugar and Spice, and Poison Lenny, but none of them had the snake tattoo. After defeating Poison Lenny, a blimp flew over the city, piloted by the Serpent. The Serpent thanked Bartman for getting rid of the competition. Later, at the Gotham Natural History Museum, the Serpent entered to steal the Stealable Jewels of the Orient, charming all of the museum patrons. As he took the gems, Bartman crashed through the roof to stop him. Bartman hit the Serpent with a Bartarang as he was trying to get away, breaking the charm he had over everyone. The police surrounded the Serpent and he surrendered. Bartman then unmasked the villain and found that he had the snake tattoo. Bartman then pushed the Serpent into a statue of a snake in a tree, impaling him on the snake's fangs.
Bartman is then asked by a reporter if his revenge was worth it, and Bartman tells her that he feels a little better, and now he has zillions of dollars and no parents to tell him what to do. Later, Bartman was using a vibrating belt next to his swimming pool as a woman in the pool asks Bartman to join them. However, Bartman tells her to not interrupt him when he's vibrating.
