Character Information
|
Chewbacca is a Wookiee, an alien.
History
When the FBI investigated Homer's alien sighting, Agents Mulder and Scully assembled a lineup of aliens for Homer to identify which one he had seen. In addition to Chewbacca, the lineup included Marvin the Martian, Gort, ALF and Kang or Kodos. Chewbacca was later seen with the rest of Springfield, singing "Good Morning Starshine". He was wearing a "Homer is a dope" T-shirt.[1]
His picture is seen on the cover of the board game Star Wars Monopoly[2] and on the bottle of Scent of a Wookiee, a cologne from the Star Wars collection.[3]
During the Krusty's Toy Trample at Hello Krusty, Bart and Milhouse saw a display of toys from Solo: A Star Wars Story. Among the toys were several Chewbacca toys.[4]
Willie revealed his biggest disappointment was when the version of Star Wars with him as Chewbacca was cut.[5]
When Homer was on a diet because he was too overweight, he imagined Chewbacca shouting at him, along with other people.[6]

When Homer got onto the carousel at Krustyland, he said that that he and Lisa were the first people "ever to ride this baby", and they were like "that space guy who did that moon thing!". Lisa asked if he meant Neil Armstrong, to which Homer replied that he meant Chewbacca.[7]
