Louie is a member of the Springfield Mafia. He accompanies Fat Tony and Legs.

Description

He has curly black hair with a slight afro. Louie is the muscle, as well as Legs. Fat Tony is his boss and he always listens to him, doing whatever he's told. He isn't afraid to kill or wound anyone who gets in his way. He also says that tear gas is "[his] one weakness," though this is likely an embellishment.[2]

Behind the Laughter

Louie's appearance and mannerisms are strongly evocative of character actor Frank Sivero, who has played gangster roles in films such as Godfellas and The Godfather Part II. Also, according to Dan Castellaneta, he modeled his voice after Italian American actor, Joe Pesci, who also had a role in Goodfellas. A reference to him is in Futurama as Clamps in the Robot Mafia. He appears in The Simpsons: Tapped Out on Level 28 along with Legs, with the Fat Tony's Compound Building.
