History

He was attacking the Zenith City nuclear power plant with the rest of the Fossil Fuel Four. Together, The Fossil Fuel Four defeated and killed Radioactive Man.

Powers

He shoots coal from his scepter.

Behind the Laughter

Old King Coal's name is a reference to the British nursery rhyme "Old King Cole". His appearance is similar to The Thing.
