The Togonian cousins are a family who are Bart's long-lost cousins. The family is made up of a mother, a father, two sisters, and a brother.

History

After Bart wins a 5 minute shopping spree at a toy store, he soon starts to regret it when everyone in Springfield starts asking him to get them toys. After coming home from school, Marge introduces Bart to his "long-lost cousins from the tiny republic of Togonia." The family had come bearing "salted pork balls" and "wint-o-green banana gum," hoping that Bart would get them some toys in exchange for the gifts.

Behind the Laughter

  • Although Togonia's exact location is never stated, the family dresses in a manner similar to various Pacific island nations.
  • The family resembles the Simpsons, with similar hair and facial structure.
