History

When Reverend Lovejoy presented Stan Lee that Comic Book Guy's funeral, he mentioned at he was the creator of The Avengers.[1]

Several The Avengers-looking characters appear at the Capital City Googolplex Theaters in a superhero movie, where they form the Assemblers Assemble.[2]

Comic Book Guy told Nelson that he found his lack of appreciation for "The Avengers" continuity appalling in the extreme.[3]
