Dr. Simpson is a relative of Homer's and is the chief of complicated surgeries at the invasive care clinic.
History
Homer once became devastated when he couldn't find any successful Simpson men to prove to Lisa that there is no genetic condition causing intelligence deterioration in their family. As a last ditch effort, he grabbed Dr. Simpson, who was not only a successful doctor but also explained to Lisa that the defective Simpson gene is only on the Y (male) Chromosome.
