Fortnite is an online video game released in 2017. The game has seven different game modes, the most popular being Fortnite Battle Royale.
A The Simpsons themed mini-season started on November 1, 2025 at 20:30 GMT.
Teasers and announcement
Official teasers started on October 24, 2025 when a cel-shaded tree started growing, which later turned into Bart's treehouse on October 26. Inside the treehouse was a Simpsons-style television that shows multiple clips, including the technical difficulties screen from "Treehouse of Horror VI" and Homer backing into the hedge in "Homer Loves Flanders". Kang and Kodos also had a small chance to appear before a match started.[1] Other teasers feature El Barto-vandalized artwork and logos.[2]
On October 27, 2025, an official teaser trailer was posted to The Simpsons' Twitter account featuring Kang and Kodos attacking characters in their UFO. Another trailer was released on YouTube on October 31, 2025.[4]

Live Event
The live event started on November 1, 2025 at 15:00 GMT. It took place at Bart's treehouse.
Jonesy and Hope arrive at Bart's Treehouse to try and stop a tentacle monster from emerging. Meanwhile, Kang and Kodos are flying around in their UFO. The live event then goes into the first Fortnite x The Simpsons short, "Apocalypse D'oh!".
A trailer for The Simpsons mini-season then plays, parodying the opening sequence of the show.
Weekly shorts
Weekly Fortnite x The Simpsons shorts aired on Disney+ and YouTube, starting on November 1, 2025, with the final one airing on November 24, 2025.[5]

Springfield Stories is a questline within Fortnite for the season.

When the storm closes in and the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant is left outside, the plant starts to melt down. Go to the plant's control room and enter the sequence of buttons indicated on posters around the map to stop the meltdown and earn loot.

From November 2, 2015 until November 10, 2025, if the special Fortnite quest is accepted on Discord, playing Fortnite for 15 minutes unlocks a special Peely Vanish avatar decoration on Discord. The avatar features Peely backing into a bush, similar to Homer in "Homer Loves Flanders". The avatar decoration can be kept for two months.
