Mrs. Glick's house is the home of Alice Glick. It has pink brick exterior, shutters with crescent moons, an attached carport for her very old car and garden gnome on the front lawn and a veranda with a swing porch in the backyard.

History[edit]

While at the hair salon Marge mentioned to Mrs. Glick how much Bart wanted to purchase a comic book so Mrs. Glick suggested he come to her house to do some chores. After a week of work including pulling the weeds from the house's totally untended backyard, clearing out sludge from the rain gutters, washing "Beulah" (the name Mrs. Glick gave to her wedding dress which she dyed black to become her mourning dress), cleaning out to the litter box of Mrs. Glick's scratchily aggressive pet Siamese cat she only paid Bart 50¢.[1]

As part of Lisa's effort to show the townspeople the benefits of snakes and stop Whacking Day, Mrs. Glick confirmed a snake killed all those rats in her house's basement which for whatever reason Lisa already knew.[2]

There is a table out in the front the house at the "Evergreen Terrace Rummage Sale" although unlike Mrs. Glick's priceless items at the Springfield Swap Meet,[3] she repeatedly demanded $90 for a simple candy dish to Ned Flanders.[4]

Kent Brockman interviewed Mrs. Glick in her living room for Guilty Grampa, his true crime podcast about Grampa Simpson.[5]
