Guilty Grampa

Wikisimpsons - The Simpsons Wiki
"A romantic sunset cruise, the perfect setting for new love between a fading Hollywood actress and a fully faded old man. But only one of them would return to port alive. I'm Kent Brockman, and this is Guilty Grampa. Guilty Grampa is sponsored by Shampoo Shuttle, seasonal-flavored shampoos drone-delivered direct to your shower."

Guilty Grampa is a true crime podcast hosted by Kent Brockman. The podcast is sponsored by Shampoo Shuttle.

Description[edit]

Guilty Grampa followed the story of the suspected murder of Vivienne St. Charmaine by Abraham Simpson, who supposedly pushed her over the edge of a cruise ship. Kent Brockman interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence where he decided that all signs pointed to Grampa being guilty.

History[edit]

After seeing how successful podcasters were becoming, Kent Brockman decided to start his own podcast, using the story of Vivienne St. Charmaine's suspected death to start Guilty Grampa. Kent started to record his podcast at Streamteam Podcast Studio and it became a huge hit with the people of Springfield, many of who also believed that Grampa was guilty. Kent Brockman interviewed Agnes Skinner, who was also on the cruise ship, who told Kent that she heard Vivienne say "Abe, don't!" Kent also interviewed Chief Wiggum who revealed that they tried to test to see if Abe did push Vivienne but they found out there was no such test. Since there wasn't enough evidence, Grampa was freed.

The evidence that Kent collected for the podcast was enough to rally the people of Springfield to attack the Simpson house as they were harboring Grampa. Kent then interviewed the family who accidentally gave more evidence to support Grampa being a murderer. Kent was eventually approached by Yeardley Smith, who told Kent that his podcast could damage lives, but Kent ignored her. Eventually, Grampa listened to the podcast and decided that he had to be guilty, even though he had no memory of what happened. Grampa then handed himself in to the police.

Just as Kent Brockman was recording the live finale of Guilty Grampa at the Shampoo Shuttle Poditorium, Dr. Hibbert revealed that Vivienne and Grampa had taken tracking pills when they went for a colonoscopy. The tracking pill revealed that Vivienne swam to shore before going to Mexico. Kent Brockman then told everyone that Grampa was in fact innocent and the podcast ended.

Interviewees[edit]

Over the series, Kent Brockman interviewed a number of people. This included Chief Wiggum, Patty and Selma, the Old Jewish man, Alice Glick, Homer Simpson and Bart Simpson.
